Sand Mountain Motor Park is situated in a small valley near Martling, Al.

One early fall morning, 2006

There is ample parking.  As a matter of fact, there are two large parking areas.  One area is at the top right of the above picture and the other area is to the left of the picture above.  No need to worry about getting the prime spot, there are plenty of them to go  around.

Mid Summer, 2006

The track is nicely shaded in a significant number of places.  There is shade in several turns and in the back rhythm section.
